Joel Madden: Baby 'looks like her mom'

Rocker says baby daughter is Nicole's double

Nicole Richie's rocker boyfriend Joel Madden says that even though he may "suck at diapers," he's ecstatic about new daughter Harlow Winter.

"I am finally home with my beautiful girlfriend and our brand new little daughter," wrote the proud papa Monday on his DCMA Collective Web site under the heading "It's a Girl!!!!"

"She is 19 inches long and growing everyday already!" Madden, 28, writes. "We are so blessed to have this beautiful little baby in our lives."

He notes the baby "looks so much like her mom its crazy!"

"She eats like a little maniac and she's really sweet," Madden writes. "She barely ever cries, even when daddy is changing her diaper, and believe me I suck when it comes to diapers, but I'm learning! I can't wait to show off some pictures."

Madden also expressed appreciation "for all the love and kind words" from well-wishers.

"We apologize we weren't accepting and gifts/cards/calls at the hospital," he writes, "but if you'd like to send something, we'd rather you make a donation to the Richie-Madden Foundation, which we started in Harlow Winter's honor."
