Singer turns up to court 4 hours late

Britney Spears has failed to win back visitation rights to see her kids after turning up nearly 4 hours late to court.

The troubled singer was expected to give evidence yesterday in support of her appeal to win back custody of her 2 sons - Jayden James, 1, and Sean Preston, 2.

But just moments after she arrived at the LA court, accompanied by paparazzo boyfriend Adnan Ghalib, she jumped back into her jeep and fled the scene to take refuge from photographers in a nearby church.

The latest court hearing comes after the 26-year-old refused to hand over her kids to ex-hubby Kevin Federline in a bizarre 3-hour stand off at her Beverly Hills mansion on 3 January.

She was taken to hospital on a stretcher.

K-fed, 29, has now been granted full custody of the kids and Brit will have no contact with them until the next court hearing on the 19 February.
