Eva Longoria-Parker: I'm not pregnant

Actress denies pregnancy rumours

Despite persistent rumors, Eva Longoria-Parker insists that the little extra bulge around her belly is just home cooking – not evidence of impending motherhood.

"No pregnancy, not yet," said the actress Saturday during an interview for her new film, Over Her Dead Body, in Santa Monica. "I've been cooking and eating, cooking and eating. I keep telling everyone that I've gained 10 pounds just being on strike."

With Hollywood in the midst of it's own mini baby boom, Longoria-Parker didn't help her case when she arrived at the movie's press day wrapped in a pink baby blanket, worn over a short, billowing dress.

"I know – If this isn't going to spawn pregnancy rumors, I don't know..." the Desperate Housewives star laughed. "I was freezing, so I had to run down to the gift shop, and they didn't have any wraps. I grabbed this and was like, 'It's so soft, but why is it so small?!' And they said, 'It's for a baby.'"

Though the actress, who is married to basketball star Tony Parker, says she's not with child, she doesn't hide that they have a family in mind.

"I mean, we're not really on a time clock, and going, 'Okay, this month, this day," she said. "We're kind of just going, 'We're so happy if we get pregnant, and if we don't we're okay.' We're just letting God decide it."
