Charlotte Church’s fella cleared due to lack of evidence
Monday, 14 January 2008
Gavin Henson has been cleared of allegations that he was abusive to passengers on a train journey.
Charlotte Church’s boyfriend, 25, had been accused of disorderly conduct by British Transport Police during a London to Cardiff trip on 2 December.
But on Friday the Crown Prosecution Service said Gavin won’t have to stand trial.
‘There is insufficient evidence to provide a realistic prospect of conviction,’ a spokesperson tells the Daily Express.
But 3 of Gavin’s friends - Jamie Griffiths, 26, David Norman, 33, and Matthew Williams, 25 - were fined £400 with £75 costs today after admitting being disorderly.
