Beauty queen Jade Eden given the boot

Big Brother: Celebrity Hijack had its first eviction on Friday night.

In a shock result, beauty queen Jade Eden was voted out.

She burst into tears on hearing her name, as other housemates sat open-mouthed in shock.

Jade was booed as she left the house but skipped and danced as the Pussycat Doll’s song Don’t Cha was played on her exit.

The 21-year-old repeatedly asked host Dermot O’Leary, ‘Why am I being booed?’

In her eviction interview, a tearful Jade was confused as to why she was voted out.

‘I know I haven’t bitched, I know I haven’t been nasty, I’ve just had fun,' she insisted. 'I don’t understand.’

She sat open-mouthed as she watched video footage of other housemates nominating her for her constant cheery nature.

‘People don’t trust happy people,’ Dermot said. ‘If someone’s happy all the time, you think, 'What’s the matter with them?"'

Jade refused to let her housemates' opinions get the better of her.

‘I was myself and I’m proud of the person I am,’ she announced.
