There's one TV show that Torchwood star John Barrowman never misses - Ugly Betty.
The 40-year-old can't get enough of all the dramas at Mode magazine, but he doesn't view it on the box.
'I'm obsessed with Ugly Betty, Prison Break and Heroes,' he admits. 'I don't get much of a chance to watch TV, so I download them all on to my iPod.'
John loves fashion and hitting the High Street but feels most comfortable in jeans.
'In my winter wardrobe I have a Belstaff wax coat, a couple of winter suits, loads of Abercrombie & Fitch jeans and cashmere sweaters from Costco,' he says.
'When I want to get away from it all, I go shopping. When I've got a hectic schedule there's nothing like treating myself to something frivolous to relax.'
John enjoys spending his cash on cars and owns a Toyota Prius, a Porsche, a Mercedes ML Class and a vintage Mercedes 380SL.
But the actor makes savings on household furnishings.
'People would be surprised to know that I'm a real bargain hunter,' he says. 'My worst vice is shopping. I can't go past a TK Maxx without going in. If you need accessories for the house, go to TK Maxx – it's amazing.'
John's album Another Side and autobiography Anything Goes [£18.99, Michael O'Mara] are in the shops now!
