Britney Spears: They're not sending me to the nut house

Singer refuses to seek treatment

Britney Spears has reportedly told pals that she’d rather kill herself than seek emergency psychiatric treatment.

The singer, 26, is said to be concerned that her parents - Jamie and Lynn Spears - will get a court order to section her following her recent hospitalisation.

‘They're not sending me to the nut house! No one can make me go if I don't want to go - and I ain't going,’ she’s reported to have told a pal last week.

‘I'll kill myself before I let them lock me up again. So tell Mama and Daddy I said so. Oh, my God, it's over for me.’

Pals say Brit has been struggling since losing custody of sons Jayden James, 2, and Sean Preston, 1, to ex-hubby Kevin Federline, 29.

‘The kids are her life,’ a pal tells the Daily Mirror. ‘She told me she has no reason to live if she can't see them. So, yes, I'm afraid, very afraid.’

Brit, who headed down to Mexico with paparazzo boyfriend Adnan Ghalib, 35, last week, has been in a very distracted and dark mood.

‘One of our waitresses spotted Britney singing to herself in the bar,’ a staff member tells The Sun.

‘She heard her mumbling the words to Toxic in a very low voice. The hotel is virtually deserted at this time of year and Britney was all alone in the bar singing to herself.’
