Actress parts ways with Jermaine Pennant

Hollyoaks star Jennifer Metcalfe is officially no longer a WAG.
The actress, 25 – who plays Mercedes McQueen in the Channel 4 soap – has split from Liverpool footballer Jermaine Pennant, 24.
Jen and Jermaine are believed to have called time on their romance because they want to concentrate on their jobs.
‘Jermaine is gutted,’ a source tells the Daily Mirror. ‘He was in love. They were practically living together but want to focus on their careers. Jermaine is desperate to make the England squad.’
The pair had been dating since November.
A spokesman for Jermaine confirmed the split.
