KT Tunstall gets engaged

Singer set to marry drummer Luke Bullen

KT Tunstall is all set to marry boyfriend Luke Bullen after he proposed on Christmas Day.

The drummer – who plays in KT’s backing band – popped the question while they stayed at her adoptive parents' home in Fife over the holidays.

‘It's 11am Christmas morning, the doorbell goes and it's Luke suited and booted with all his bags,’ the 32-year-old writes on her website.

‘And a little box. Wrapped with a ribbon. He proposed. Being an opportunist, I obviously said yes. It feels smashing. Keep an eye out for a little sparkle as I'm playing those chords.'

Luke, 34, had secretly visited KT's mum and dad a month earlier to ask their permission.

The couple have booked a venue for September.
