SHOCK! What <em>is</em> Johnny Depp wearing?

Actor attends premiere in an odd suit

Johnny Depp made an eccentric fashion statement at his film premiere last night.

The actor turned up to the London debut of new film Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber Of Fleet Street in a pair of Simon Cowell-inspired high-waisted trousers, teamed with a jacket straight out of the 80s.

Johnny also wore an open-neck black shirt and narrow belt to complete the um, interesting look.

Co-star Helena Bonham Carter, in contrast, looked stunning in a red satin dress.

It was her first outing since giving birth to her second child a month ago.

The actress, 41, found out she was pregnant while filming the movie.

‘It was hard work,’ she tells the Daily Express. ‘I couldn’t drink caffeine and we started work at 5am.’
