Britney Spears and Adnan Ghalib take a trip to Mexico

Singer and her paparazzo boyfriend head south

Britney Spears and paparazzo Adnan Ghalib crossed the US border into Mexico yesterday.

The mum-of-two wore a pink wig when she, Adnan, 35, and other friends checked into a £120-a-night hotel on Rosarito Beach at 3.00pm.

Britney, 26, popped out to do a bit of shopping, treating herself to 2 bags - one a fake Gucci - reports local newspaper El Vigia.

Ghalib chose a rosary and the whole bill came to £30.

'She looked serious and haggard,' says a sales assistant. 'She didn't have make-up on.'

Since she was released from hospital on Saturday, Britney has been on the move.

One of her cars was impounded this week when she got a flat tyre and left the vehicle on the highway after hitching a lift home.
