Nicole Richie has a baby daughter
Nicole Richie has given birth to her first child, a little girl.
The baby arrived yesterday at Cedars-Sinai Medical Centre weighing 6lb 7oz and has been named Harlow Winter Kate Madden.
'The beautiful healthy baby girl left the hospital with her ecstatic parents,' a rep tells People.com.
Simple Life star Nicole, 26, and boyfriend Joel Madden, 28, announced the pregnancy in July.
'Having a baby is the most exciting thing that's ever happened to me, and to us,' said Joel.
The couple plan to marry but have not yet set a date.
'Right now our priority is our family and is the baby,' the new dad explained before Christmas. 'That's all we've been thinking about. We are in love and are really happy.'
