Marc Bannerman: I fell in love and that's that

I’m A Celeb star isn't sorry for breaking Sarah Matravers' heart

Marc Bannerman has given his first TV interview since falling for Cerys Matthews on I'm a Celeb.

The ex-EastEnder, 34, defends himself after being labelled a loverat for flirting with the singer when he was still living with ex Sarah Matravers.

‘I couldn't care less what anyone thinks,’ Marc tells Al Murray's Happy Hour, which airs this week. ‘I fell in love with someone and that is that.

‘I know I hurt someone back in England but what can you do? Life goes on and I hope she is all right.’

Cerys, 38, joined him for the chat show. She explains that the media intrusion hasn’t affected the relationship.

‘It's going well,’ she says.

Al Murray's Happy Hour is on ITV this Friday at 10pm.
