Amy Winehouse gets sickness bug

Singer said to have fallen ill on holiday

Amy Winehouse caught a nasty stomach virus while on holiday in the Caribbean – and spent most of her time slumped over the toilet.

The troubled star jetted off to Mustique to stay with rocker Bryan Adams after Christmas, but pals say she was too unwell to make the most of the tropical paradise.

‘She didn’t really enjoy the holiday,’ a friend tells The Sun.

‘She was taken out by a sickness bug and spent a lot of her time in Bryan Adams’ loo.'

Amy, 24, had recovered enough to sign autographs and pose for snaps with fans at the weekend before jumping on a plane home.

Despite her illness, she's managed to pick up a tan.
