Couple last on the red carpet at the Critics' Choice Awards
Tuesday, 8 January 2008
Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt arrived fashionably late when they attended the Critics' Choice Awards last night.
The Hollywood couple were the last to arrive on the red carpet and although organisers tried to usher them into the venue, Angelina stopped to pose for photos and answer reporters' questions.
Onlookers say Brad, 44, was eager to get inside.
'Do you have to go do your thing?' he asked and she replied, 'Just for a minute,' says a source.
Brad and Angie, 32, had to wait to be seated after the first commercial break.
They joined other celebrity guests including Katie Holmes, George Clooney and Sean Penn at the Santa Monica Civic Auditorium.
Katie Holmes presented the award for Best Comedy Movie, looking gorgeously tanned.
Angie, 32, was nominated for Best Actress for her role in A Mighty Heart but lost out to Julie Christie.
The Best Actor award was given to Daniel Day-Lewis for There Will Be Blood.
