X Factor's Steve Brookstein to be a dad

2004 winner has his own little production on the way

Steve Brookstein won The X Factor in 2004 but split with music mogul Simon Cowell 8 months later.

Steve, 39, now has his own record label and has a special production on the way - wife Eileen Hunter is expecting their first baby.

When he was a contestant on ITV's talent show, Steve is reported to have jokingly referred to Eileen as 'reliable as a Volvo'.

Steve and Eileen, a talented musician herself, met in a branch of Starbucks in 2002. They became man and wife in 2006 and celebrated their first anniversary with a trip to Rome.

The happy couple are looking forward to becoming parents this year.
