David Walliams 'gutted' over dad's death

Little Britain star's father Peter Walliams loses battle with liver cancer

David Walliams was said to be devastated last night after the death of his father.

Peter Walliams lost his battle with liver cancer this week and is believed to have died in hospital.

Peter was diagnosed with a virulent strain of the disease in September.

David, 36, is currently with mum Kathleen in Banstead, Surrey.

'They were very close,' a source tells the Daily Star. 'He's gutted.'
