SHOCK! Mark Ramprakash splits from wife

Strictly Come Dancing star's marriage is over

Strictly Come Dancing 2006 winner Mark Ramprakash has split from wife Vandana after 14 years of marriage.

The couple are said to have been living apart since Christmas.

Mark has now moved out of the family home in Northwood, North-West London.

The cricketer, 38, and Vanda, 37, had been doing their best to resolve their problems for the sake of their two daughters.

‘It is very sad,’ says a pal. ‘They have been trying to work things out, but have failed to do so. There is no third party involved.’

During Mark’s stint on the BBC show, it emerged that he had had a 2-year affair with a single mother – although he ended it before he started Strictly.

The strain of the liaison is said to have taken its toll.

‘Mark was desperate to make the marriage work and deeply sorry,’ the source tells The Sun. ‘They got back together, but his affair was made so public it was difficult.’

Mark refused to comment.
