Gisele Bundchen: I never talk about fashion with my friends

Modelling allows her to become someone else

Gisele Bundchen loves modelling – because she gets to pretend to be someone else for a day.

'For me, I go to work, I have hair and make-up and it's like playing dress-up,' she explains.

'It's like playing a character. It's part of my life, but it's not my whole life. I'm a jeans and T-shirt kind of girl. I could never talk about fashion with my friends.'

Despite her success, the stunning Brazilian, 27, is still insecure about her looks and there are times when she hates looking in the mirror.

'Does it feel fabulous all the time?' she says. 'Of course not! You never see yourself in that way.

'Everyone sees themselves in the morning and thinks, "Oh God, look at me. And today I have to take a picture, for God's sake." Everyone has those days.'

Currently the face of Dolce & Gabbana fragrance The One, Gisele is now set to design a range of clothes for the brand.
