EastEnders the biggest hit on Christmas Day

EastEnders was the show everyone wanted to see on Christmas Day - part two, screened at 8.00pm, pulled in 13.9million viewers.

We couldn't resist watching poor Bradley discover wife Stacey had been carrying on with his dad Max.

But nearly as many people fancied a bit of fantasy sci fi.

13.8million viewers saw Kylie Minogue's Titanic waitress Astrid capture David Tennant's heart in Doctor Who before becoming stardust.
