Singer reduced to tears in rehearsals

Alesha Dixon is struggling to cope with the pressure of being in the final of TV show Strictly Come Dancing.

She has wowed the judges with her graceful moves and commitment to the competition, but presenter Tess Daly says the singer gets very worked up about performing.

‘Alesha gets so nervous on dance night,’ she reveals.

‘So much that there has been a few tears between shows. I think the tension has really got to her – that and probably exhaustion.’

But Alesha, 29, is determined not to give up and is desperate to win.

‘She and Matt have trained more than anyone else, putting in 38 hours in the week,’ Tess tells the Daily Star.

‘Alesha has performed outstandingly.’

The final will be aired on BBC1 tomorrow night.
