Katie Holmes 'spends £50,000' on Christmas shopping spree

Actress treats her daughter to expensive clothes

Katie Holmes reportedly spent £50,000 in a department store last week.

The Dawson’s Creek actress visited Neiman Marcus in Beverly Hills on 15 December for a bumper shopping session.

‘She bought a $30,000 (£15,000) rose-gold Cartier wristwatch, a Prada ski coat for $1,395 (£700), four pairs of Barker Black handmade English shoes at $825 (£410) each, and $5,000 (£2,500) on dresses and other clothes for Suri,’ claims an insider.

Katie, 29, likes her 18-month-old daughter to be well dressed and doesn't mind splashing out.

She's had a mould of Suri’s foot taken by Christian Louboutin so he can make the toddler some rather special $2,500 (£1,250) shoes.

‘She is our youngest client ever!’ a source told In Touch magazine.

Katie’s representative confirmed she was at Neiman Marcus on the date, but denied she spent the amount reported.
