The teenager is a caring lad

Lynne Spears thoroughly approves of Jamie Lynne's boyfriend Casey Aldridge.

The teenager is reported to be the father of the baby Britney Spears' little sister is expecting - and he's a caring lad who's helped the 16-year-old cope with fame.

'He took amazing care of Jamie Lynn,' a family friend tells People.com. 'Anything ever went wrong, he always comforted her.'

Casey, 19, grew up in a small town about 30 miles from the Spears' family home in Kentwood, Louisiana but has been living with Jamie Lynne and her mum in LA where she's been filming Nickelodean series Zoey 101.

The 6ft 1in sports fan also gets on well with Jamie Lynn's father, Jamie.

'Jamie talks about how he really likes Casey,' says the source.

'He's a stand-up guy, and he will take care of the baby.'
