Cate Blanchett nominated for Screen Actors Guild Awards

Cate Blanchett has two nominations in the Screen Actors Guild Awards.

The actress is up for Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor In A Leading Role for her portrayal of the monarch in Elizabeth: The Golden Age, competing with Angelina Jolie, 32, in A Mighty Heart

Cate is also nominated for Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a Supporting Role
for I'm Not There.

Nominations for Male Actor include George Clooney for Michael Clayton and Daniel Day-Lewis for There Will Be Blood.

The winners will be announced at the awards ceremony on 27 January 2008.
