Desperate Housewives star Eva Longoria's hubby is to sue an America gossip site.
Tony Parker, 25, has launched legal action against X17online.com over claims he had a 2-month affair with French model Alexandra Paressant.
He is said to be seeking £10m in damages for defamation and invasion of privacy. He also wants an injunction banning publication of further stories related to the claims.
In the lawsuit filed at the LA County Superior Court, Tony alleges that X17 defamed him and didn't try to verify the information with him, Eva or any of their representatives.
The strongly-worded legal papers also state that Tony has never met Alexandra.
‘If this woman exists, he has no way of knowing whether she is one of the many fans who have, from time to time, managed to obtain his cell phone number and called or left messages or who may have engaged him in conversation,’ it says.
Eva and Tony have already publicly denied the allegations.
‘I love my wife,’ a statement from Tony's spokeswoman said last week. ‘She's the best thing in my life, and I have never been happier.’
Eva, 32, added: ‘Tony has been nothing short of the perfect husband.’
X17 were unavailable for comment.
