Kerry Katona pines for Brian McFadden and her old friends

The mum-of-three wants her old life back

As families gather to celebrate Christmas, Kerry Katona’s feeling isolated and estranged from her loved ones.

The lonely star, who's 5 months pregnant, is struggling to come to terms with ex-husband Brian McFadden’s recent engagement to Delta Goodrem.

She has been reduced to tears as she thinks back to her happy days with the love of her life and her old set of pals.

Kerry, 27, has two children by Brian – Molly, six, and Lilly, four – and a new life with ex-cabbie Mark Croft, 37, and their baby daughter Heidi, 10 months. But she has no mates and no longer has contact with her mum Sue.

‘Kerry’s been trawling the internet, trying to find her friends,’ says our source. ‘She’s been going on websites such as Facebook and Friends Reunited, trying to find out what’s going on in their lives.

‘It’s hardly surprising that she has no friends left, after the way she treated them. She calls them all traitors for selling stories about her, even when most of them didn’t.

‘Now look who’s the sad one. She has no one to turn to. Mark’s no good for emotional chats and their relationship is based purely on pleasure rather than support and encouragement. I don’t know anyone who’d trade places with her. It’s a shame.’
