Keira Knightley has revealed she is quitting London for a quiet life in the country.
The actress - who has made no secret of her loathing for the press and paparazzi – wants to escape the showbiz circuit with lover Rupert Friend.
‘I’m moving out of the centre so that I can lead a more domestic life,’ she explains.
‘I want to have local things like shops and nice pubs. Central London is just too busy.’
The 22-year-old actress admits she is a bit of a loner, and says she has few celebrity friends in the capital.
‘I’m not a very sociable person,’ she tells the Daily Telegraph.
‘I went to the Vanity Fair post-Oscar party and just stood in the corner drinking champagne. Honestly, I don’t like parties very much.
‘I have very few real friends in showbusiness so it’s not really my crowd.’
