Katie Holmes: Tom’s kids call me Mom

Actress speaks of closeness with Tom and Nicole’s children

Katie Holmes has revealed her stepchildren call her Mom.

The actress has a warm relationship with Connor, 12, and Isabella, 14, the son and daughter Tom Cruise adopted with ex-wife Nicole Kidman.

‘They call me Mom,’ says Katie, who gave birth to their little sister Suri in April.

‘[Tom's] first two children are incredible, really smart and kind.’

Connor and Isabella are said to spend most of their time with their dad and Nicole feels a little left out in the cold.

‘My kids don’t call me Mommy, they don’t even call me Mom,’ Nicole recently told GMTV. ‘They call me Nicole which I hate and tell them off for it.’

Tom, 45 and Katie, 29, are planning a break in Telluride Colorado this Christmas to relax after a busy year.

‘We ski a lot.’ Katie, 29, tells Parade. ‘We have big dinners and laugh. Tom’s really good in the kitchen. He makes great pasta carbonara.’
