Amy Winehouse was on the Pill at 15

After her dad left home, Amy 'went off the rails'

Amy Winehouse was out of control from the age of 9, when she started bunking off school.

By the time she was 15, she’d had a string of boyfriends, had lost her virginity and was already on the Pill.

‘After Amy’s dad Mitch moved out when she was 9, she felt that she could do anything she wanted,' reveals an old pal.

'She started wearing short skirts and make-up. Her mum Janis struggled to control her.

‘Amy lost her virginity at 15...and told her mum, who made her go on the Pill. She was treated badly by the boy and I don’t think her head was in a good space about it. It traumatised her and she speaks about it even now.'

The friend says 24-year-old Amy's public bust-ups with husband Blake Fielder-Civil are nothing new.

'She was always running barefoot and half-naked down the street after guys when they’d had a row,' our source reveals.

‘Look at Amy now – she hasn’t changed. It’s like she’s crying out for help.'
