David Gest rushed to hospital

I’m A Celebrity star suffering chest pains

David Gest was taken ill at his home in Hampstead, North London this morning.

He was admitted to a private London hospital at 5.30am with chest pains and breathing problems

‘David is stable and receiving the best medical attention,’ a spokeswoman tells the Daily Mail.

'We are awaiting an update from doctors.’

The 54-year-old American shot to fame in the UK after appearing on last years I’m A Celebrity.

Coincidently, ex-wife Liza Minnelli, 61, was treated in hospital recently after collapsing in Sweden.

David appeared - dressed as Liza - in A Twisted Carol panto in the West End last week.
