Fergie gets engaged to Josh Duhamel

Black Eyed Peas singer to marry the love of her life

Black Eyed Peas singer Fergie has became engaged to boyfriend of three years actor Josh Duhamel, 35.

The singer didn't seem interested in getting spliced but has obviously changed her mind.

'We're practically married anyway,' she told Blender magazine recently. 'I'm madly in love with him. He understands how to treat a woman and give me respect.'

Fergie, 32, beat a drug addiction to become the star she is today and has had to deal with the embarrassment of wetting herself in front of an audience.

'I was late, so I didn't go to the restroom before I went on stage,' she explains.

'It was horrible. But whatever. It happened.'

Fergie - real name Sarah Ferguson - says you can't dwell on the downs in life.

'It's like there's one or two things that public knows about every famous person,' she says. 'With me, everyone knows I wet my pants onstage and had a crystal-meth addiction.

'That sucks. You have to laugh.'
