Casey Aldridge may face 3 years in prison for having sex with a minor

Jamie Lynn Spears' boyfriend Casey Aldridge could face charges of statutory rape for having sex with a minor.
In their hometown of Louisana, the law states that a person can only legally consent to sex at age 17.
If aged 15 or 16, the other person involved must be no more than 2 years older.
Casey is widely reported as being 19 and, as a result, he could be prosecuted for having sex with a 16-year-old, a felony which carries a maximum penalty of 3 years in prison.
However, the teenager's uncle Odus says his nephew is only 18 - born on 29 April 1989 - so the law wouldn't apply.
