Matt Di Angelo: Of course I fancy Flavia

But she's too old for me, says EastEnders star

Soap star Matt Di Angelo has admitted he does fancy Strictly Come Dancing partner Flavia Cacace but there's nothing going on between them.

The pair - who are up against Alesha Dixon and Matthew Cutler in the final of the hit BBC show – sparked rumours of romance after they were snapped together appearing to hold hands.

But 20-year-old Matt confesses that professional dancer Flavia - who lives with boyfriend Vincent Simone - is off limits and the paparazzi snap was misleading.

‘It was the angle of the picture,’ he says.

‘We do have a genuine connection. She’s a really good friend and we get on brilliantly.

‘Do I fancy her? Of course I do. I mean, have you seen Flavia? But she’s a lot older. Eight years.’

Contrary to tabloid reports, the EastEnders actor insists he is not at war with Vincent over the pair's flirting.

‘Vincent and I get on pretty well,’ Matt tells the Daily Mail.

‘We laugh about it all the time. He finds it as funny as I do.’
