Footy ace sets the record straight on Parkinson
Monday, 17 December 2007
David Beckham has denied wearing a frilly apron to do the cleaning.
The soccer star appeared on the last ever Parkinson show last night – and said that while he may vacuum in straight lines, he doesn’t wear a pinny.
Instead he blames wife Victoria - who informed the nation about his cleaning attire on a radio show last month - for exaggerating the truth.
‘When we’re on live TV she likes to say certain things, like me wearing her knickers,’ he laughs. 'But, definitely not.'
However, David, 32, does admit he's got some strange habits.
‘I’m obsessed with neatness. I have to have everything in the right place and she finds it very annoying,’ he tells Parky.
‘For instance, cans of drink in the fridge...I have to have [them in lines of] four, four, four instead of four, five, four. Odd things like that she’s remarked on.’
Last time the showbiz couple were interviewed on the show, Victoria let it slip she called him Goldenballs...
