SEE VIDEO Spice Girls thrill at London's 02 Arena

Fans pay up to £75 for a ticket but aren't disappointed

The Spice Girls performed the first of 17 shows at London's O2 Arena last night.

'We love you London! What a crowd!' shouted Geri Halliwell.

Posh's husband David and their 3 sons were in the front row to support their mum and other celebrities in the audience included Rihanna and Gordon Ramsay.

Emma Bunton had her ankle strapped up after spraining it last week in Las Vegas but the fans weren't disappointed by the spectacular gig.

The show sold out in just 38 seconds when tickets went on sale in October, which is why Baby, Sporty, Ginger, Posh and Scary are doing another 16 shows in the capital.

The last time they all appeared together in the UK was in Birmingham in 1998, just before Geri walked out.

After London and Manchester, the Spice Girls are due to perform in Cape Town, Buenos Aires, Shanghai, Sydney and Beijing.
