Liza Minnelli rushed to hospital

Singer collapses during performance in Sweden

Legendary singer Liza Minnelli is said to be recovering after collapsing on stage during a performance in Sweden last night.

The Hollywood star, 61, was rushed to hospital when she toppled over during a special Christmas show at the Scandinavium venue.

Fortunately, she was saved by a technician.

‘It was a terrible situation,’ promoter Michael Silfverskiold tells the Daily Mail. ‘She fell off the side of the stage. The production manager caught her. You could see she was in pain.’

Liza was discharged from the Swedish hospital this morning, and has now reportedly flown back to the US.
