Cerys Matthews: I didn't flirt with Marc Bannerman that much

Singer says editing on I'm A Celeb was misleading

Marc Bannerman and Cerys Matthews insist their flirting didn't get out of hand on I'm A Celeb.

'It was edited to make it look like we were doing things 24 hours a day, when we weren't,' says Cerys, 38.

'We hadn't even kissed! People said we snogged in the jungle but it was only a goodnight kiss on the cheek.'

Ex-EastEnder Marc, 34, reckons that splicing different film clips together could have made it look like any of the contestants were getting it on.

'It's been built up as some love story but it wasn't,' he tells OK!.

'The love story could've been with anyone - [Christopher] Biggins, Rodney [Marsh] or J [Jason Brown], they were all pretty tactile.'

We're sure ex-footie pundit Rodney would be delighted to hear that.

Before Christmas Cerys, dressed in sombre black, gave the reading of the Christmas story from St Luke’s Gospel at the 34th Children Of Courage Awards at Westminster Abbey.

She and Marc are currently holed together at the ex-Catatonia star's home in Wales.
