Amy Winehouse appears on front cover of prison newspaper

Troubled singer featured by Inside Time

Amy Winehouse has unwittingly appeared on the front cover of Inside Time, a monthly newspaper for prisoners.

The troubled star – whose hubby Blake Fielder-Civil is being held in Pentonville Prison on charges of GBH and conspiracy to pervert the course of justice – is pictured on stage in the photograph.

Insiders say her hubby was bursting with pride when he saw the snap of his wife in a skimpy dress.

‘Blake was really chuffed to see Amy on the cover,’ a source tells the Daily Star.

‘She might not be a conventional beauty but Blake thinks she is stunning and was really pleased they chose such a nice photo.’

Unfortunately, the cover line to accompany the shot says Battling The Boos - an on obvious reference to the jazz diva's disastrous performance in Birmingham when she was jeered off stage.

Amy, 24, has since quit her UK tour to support Blake until his upcoming court case in January.
