Madonna flies to India to celebrate social worker's glowing report

Baby David is getting good care with the Ritchies

Madonna has been given a boost in winning permanent custody of Malawi-born David Banda, 2.

The singer, 49, was visited by a court-appointed monitor before Christmas to see how the 2-year-old was settling into her home.

The social worker praised her as a mum and backed her application so Madonna splashed out on a £100k holiday to celebrate the news.

‘Madonna organised the trip after hearing of the glowing report,’ a pal tells The Sun. ‘The hotel will cater for her every whim.’

The Material Girl, hubby Guy Richie, 39, and kids Lourdes, 11, Rocco, 7, and little David flew to India on a private jet on New Year’s Eve.

They are believed to be staying at the exclusive £2,000-a-night suite at Jaipur’s Ummed Bhavan Palace hotel.
