Kate Thornton is pregnant

She's expecting her first child in May

Kate Thornton is expecting a baby, her agent has confirmed.

The 34-year-old is believed to be 4 months pregnant with her first child.

Kate and fiancé Darren Emersen, a DJ and record producer, are delighted at the news.

The former X factor presenter was spotted having a scan at a South London hospital last week and now the secret's out.

'Kate was beaming from ear to ear,' a source tells The Sun.

'Kate and Darren are deliriously happy. Kate is due in early summer, so she can fit in a lot of work before then.'
