Nancy Dell'Olio: I've washed Sven right out of my hair

Sven-Göran Eriksson's ex says she's over him for good

Nancy Dell'Olio's sensational new feather haircut shows that she's finally moving on from partner of 9 years Sven-Göran Eriksson.

The fiery Italian's revealed that she was inspired to have the £300 cut by an Italian friend Paola, who lost all her hair when she had cancer.

Nancy, 49, said: 'All of our friends remember Paola with this beautiful, long, red hair and now it's fallen out because of her treatment.' As an act of solidarity Nancy had her mane cut as well.

Now the look's made her feel confident again. She told a friend last week: 'Sven was a big chapter in my life, but that's closed.

'This new haircut's a chance to show that I'm over him. And for the first time in my life, when I walk into a room, men see me for being a beautiful woman. Not for being Nancy Dell'Olio, Sven's girlfriend.'
