Dannii Minogue denies holding hands with Simon Cowell in cab

X Factor judge says the photo was misinterpreted

Dannii Minogue has spoken out about a paparazzi's photo which appears to show her holding hands with Simon Cowell.

The X Factor judge – who’s made no secret of her flirtatious relationship with TV's Mr Nasty – reckons the snap was taken at a bad angle and shows nothing suspicious.

‘That picture looked so wrong but it wasn’t at all,’ she says.

‘We weren’t holding hands, Simon was just stretching out his arms.’

The pair get on well and Dannii, 36, says it’s easy to misinterpret their banter.

‘Simon and I do flirt in a really fun way,’ she tells The Sun.

‘But I don’t fancy him and I don’t have a type I go for but I like a man who makes me laugh, who’s intelligent and who speaks his mind.’

Meanwhile, Dannii – who’s being hotly pursued by TV loudmouth Russell Brand - says he needs ‘dipping in cleaning fluid’ and would much prefer someone like Gordon Ramsay or Marco Pierre White.
