Singer tells paps she's recovered after no-show in court

Britney Spears says she's on the road to recovery after falling ill shortly before her court case in LA yesterday.

The troubled star failed to show up to face answer questions from Kevin Federline's attorney about her alleged drink and drug abuse.

Pals say she was suffering from a general medical condition and 'high anxiety'.

But last night Brit was snapped on her way to the Four Seasons hotel looking healthy in a smart blue jacket, funky red specs and a brand new set of brown hair extensions.

And when an X17online reporter asked her if she was feeling more perky, she replied ‘Yes, I’m feeling better.’

Later the 26-year-old popped out to buy cigarettes and seemed happy to chat to the paps as they showed her photographs and told her she looked fab.
