Star offered £16,000 to bare all in documentary
Monday, 10 December 2007
Kerry Katona has refused to give birth on national TV, despite being offered £16,000 to let the cameras into the delivery room.
The troubled star, 27 – who denies allegations that she owes £200,00 in tax – was approached by a camera crew who wanted to film the labour as part of a documentary-style show to be aired next year.
But insiders say she was mortified.
‘There was no way Kerry was going to allow the cameras near the maternity ward,’ a friend tells the News Of The World.
'She says the birth is something private for her and Mark to enjoy and no amount of money is going to change that. She couldn’t believe they were suggesting it.’
Kerry - who has 2 kids by ex Brian McFadden and 1 with current hubby Mark Croft, 37 - is due to give birth in May.
