Letitia Dean off Strictly Come Dancing

Ex-EastEnder outdanced by Alesha Dixon

Ex-EastEnders star Letitia Dean became the 10th celebrity to be voted off Strictly Come Dancing tonight.

The actress, 40, must be relieved that her intense training schedule has come to an end.

Letitia had been in rehearsals for the BBC show at the same time as preparing for her starring role as the Fairy Godmother in Cinderella at the Regent Theatre, which starts on Friday.

In a dance-off with singer Alesha Dixon, Letitia lost out.

'It's incredibly hard - you both did great dances. One couple has that extra stardust and magic and that's Alesha and Matt,' said judge Bruno Tonioli.

Letitia praised professional dance partner Darren Bennett for all his help.

'It's been a wonderful experience and I can't thank him enough,' she said.

Now Blue Peter presenter Gethin Jones, Albert Square's Matt Di Angelo and singer Alesha Dixon battle it out.
