Sporty takes time out from Spice Girls tour to perform on her own

Mel C last night took a break from the Spice Girls world tour to perform an intimate solo gig.

After the girls split, Mel had the most success as a solo artist and was the only Spice who was reluctant about the reunion.

‘The girls approached me and said they were getting together to do a world tour, a greatest hits album and a big goodbye, and I was like “Oh no”,’ she admitted. ‘It was the last thing I wanted to hear.

‘The thought of singing Wannabe makes me cringe. I’m obviously hoping that the Spice Girls tour helps with rejuvenating my solo projects.'

And it seems to be doing just that.

Sporty, 33, performed new single Beautiful Intentions at The Mint in LA and Victoria Beckham was there to give her a good clapping.
