Jeremy Clarkson has admitted tackling a group of teenage hoodies outside an indoor ski slope in Milton Keynes after they harassed him.
The Top Gear star, 47, was waiting for his daughter when a gang approached and asked if he had any security with him.
Jeremy asked them to go away but the youths continued to pester.
‘I was standing there holding this boy by the scruff of his neck, and instead of worrying about being stabbed, I was actually thinking, “I’m going to get done for assault if I’m not careful,”’ he tells the Daily Telegraph.
‘Therefore I put him down, and in a flurry of hand gestures involving various fingers he was gone.'
But one member of the gang - a 14-year-old girl - called the police claiming the 6ft 5ins star had attacked her friend.
After further investigation police cleared Jeremy of the allegations and the TV presenter chose not to press charges.
