Singer reckons Rhydian Roberts is dead cert to win X Factor
Sunday, 9 December 2007
Same Difference’s Sarah Smith has tipped rival Rhydian Roberts to win the X Factor.
The singer, 18, is certain that the 24-year-old will walk away as champion.
‘We all think Rhydian’s the front runner,’ she tells Now Online. ‘He’s very humble and says he won’t be, but all we feel that he will. So we’re all fighting for second place.’
But modest Rhyd, 24, reckons there could be an upset.
‘Everyone’s got a chance here,’ he explains. ‘All I can tell you is that everybody’s talented in what they do.’
Sarah also reveals that she and brother Sean, 21, have an unusual ritual before they go on stage.
‘In High School Musical, there’s a little thing that the brother and sister do and we do it before we go on stage,’ she says.
The routine – which Sarah says was her idea to copy - involves the siblings waving their hands in front of their face and saying: ‘Brrrrrr’.
Well, it’s got them into the final.
