Chris Tarrant’s divorce becomes even more bitter

TV host clashes with estranged wife Ingrid over who gets the children for Christmas

Chris Tarrant and estranged wife Ingrid are reported to be at logger-heads over where their children spend Christmas this year.

The Who Wants To Be A Millionaire host is desperate to spend the festive period with Toby, 15, and Samantha, 18 - but his missus has other plans.

Chris, 61, is said to feel that Ingrid is turning the kids against him.

His relationship with his son and youngest daughter has been fragile since it emerged that he cheated on the Norwegian-born star with a teacher for 10 years.

‘Chris is reading into that situation that Ingrid is instilling all this hatred in the children,’ a source tells the Daily Mail.

‘But the children are all old enough now to think for themselves. They are not babies any more.’

A spokesman for Chris said his relationship with his children was a private matter and claimed that he will only be in the country for 3 days over the Xmas period anyway.

Ingrid, 53, was unavailable for comment.

Chris has 2 other children - Jennifer, 27, and Helen, 30 - from his first marriage.
