Sexy lingerie and saucy texts keep the Beckhams' marriage alive

Victoria's lingerie collection spices up their love life

Victoria and David Beckham are still together after 11 years but it's not been a breeze.

Just three years ago, their marriage was in desperate trouble after David’s alleged affair with PA Rebecca Loos and other stories of his supposed infidelity.

‘The Rebecca Loos affair really shook them to the core,’ one well-placed source, who was with David, 32, throughout his time in Spain, reveals.

Posh, 33, felt inferior and admitted to friends that ‘no man had ever fancied her apart from David’. She confided in her mum Jackie that she was scared David would leave her and she’d end up on the shelf.

The couple rowed furiously and David, anticipating these arguments, would sometimes turn off his mobile for 24 hours.

They still struggle to put the past behind them but both are now putting a huge amount of effort into their relationship.

‘David sends Victoria at least 30 texts a day,' an LA insider told Now.

‘The texts are often quite explicit and detail how he’s looking forward to their intimate moments. But at other times he just texts her saying: “Remember how much I love you.”

‘Victoria is keen on sexy lingerie, with Agent Provocateur her favourite brand. When they’re apart, she sends David naughty pictures. Victoria swears by it and says it keeps their marriage spicy. They’re also dirty on the phone together.'
